Angela is a graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler where she acquired her education degree. She is a native of Longview, Texas and an avid supporter of private school education. After watching her son attend Trinity School of Texas in Longview for most of his education, she is eager to realize her dream of teaching in a private school. She brings with her over 10 years of work experience in the public schools as she joins the Christ Episcopal School team as P.E. coach for PK3-6th grade, and as the 4th grade history teacher. A firm believer in preparing children for a great future in all areas of life, she believes a child’s education should not only equip them with the skills they need for their future education and career, but that it should also put them in a position of better relating to society and their local community.
In her personal time, Angela enjoys the Zumba, Cize and T-Tapp exercise programs, and knitting, reading, and singing, as well as cooking, baking, hiking, and watching classic movies with her husband. She finds time to be involved in her local community through festivals and events hosted by the city of Nacogdoches as well as various ministries in the Nacogdoches area.
