Sally Kurtz

Sally has more than 30 years of teaching experience in public schools and is starting her second year at Christ Episcopal School.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University.  Later, she returned to obtain her teaching certification in Special Education and Elementary Education.  After her retirement from Palacios ISD, she held the position of Funds Coordinator with the Palacios Area Fund of Communities Foundation of Texas for 11 years. She and her husband, Scott, moved to Nacogdoches from south Texas in 2023 to be closer to their daughters and grandchildren.  Sally enjoys fishing, swimming, and quilting.  She is thankful for the opportunity to teach at Christ Episcopal School.
