Cathleen Young

Baptized at an Episcopal church, Coach Cat enjoys sharing the love of Christ with others! Born in Georgia, but from McKinney, TX, Coach Cat graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2020 with a triple major of Psychology, Sociology, and Social Work, with a Minor in Rehabilitation.

During her time at SFA, Cat worked at multiple private schools around Nacogdoches, was the Student Body Vice President of SFASU, and also spent time in a COVID Unit in Plano, TX, towards the end of her graduation process. With 12 years of working in schools and 9 years teaching swim lessons, she loves working with kids!

Coach Cat has lived in Nacogdoches for 4 years with her boyfriend Chase, 2 dogs, and 2 cats! She loves working at CES and getting to see students out of water and on land! When Coach Cat is not at CES, she is teaching swim lessons for all ages at Coach Cats Swim School.
